For years, Thundering Shrimp Tattoo has been a staple of the local creative scene, providing custom art and a welcoming environment for our clients. But as our local community of creatives has grown, so has our vision. Today, we are incredibly proud to announce our official transformation into The Crafty Shrimp.

Expanding the Creative Footprint

The decision to transition from a dedicated tattoo parlor to a multi-disciplinary creative space wasn’t made overnight. We realized that the community needed a hub—a place where illustrators, jewelers, painters, and textile artists could come together, share resources, and inspire one another.

What to Expect

The Crafty Shrimp is now officially operating as a hybrid maker space. Our newly renovated floor plan includes:

• Open Studio Workbenches: Available for daily or monthly rental.

• The Classroom: A dedicated space for weekend workshops and evening classes.

• The Gallery Wall: A rotating exhibition space featuring local makers.

• The Retail Nook: A place to buy small-batch, handmade goods directly from the artists.
