Macramé has made a massive comeback in modern interior design, bringing warmth, texture, and a bohemian vibe to any space. In this relaxing, slow-paced Sunday workshop, you will learn the art of knotting cords to create beautiful, geometric textile art.

Foundation Knots

While macramé pieces can look incredibly complex, they are usually constructed from a few basic knots. Our instructor will break down the process step-by-step, ensuring you feel confident before starting your final piece. We will cover:

  • The Lark’s Head Knot

  • The Square Knot

  • The Half-Hitch Knot

Once you master these three movements, the design possibilities are virtually endless.

Quality Materials

We believe that great art starts with great materials. Every participant will receive 100 feet of premium, 4mm single-strand recycled cotton cord in their choice of natural ecru, mustard, or sage green. You will also get to choose a piece of locally sourced, naturally treated driftwood to serve as the anchor for your wall hanging. Come enjoy some complimentary herbal tea, meet fellow makers, and tie the afternoon away.
